So I went and saw Wicked with my wife and best friend (also Best Man at my blessing).

And it was Wicked Awesome!

I know most people will say I'm biased because I always favor the villains over the hero, but to see a whole story from the point of view of the villain only, why she was that way, etc. was just awesome!

But Wicked the musical was so much more! Her teenage years really spoke to me, about how she was going to try so hard, her hopes and heroes, trying to fit in, siblings, EVERYTHING just really made me feel, made me think. Dreaming of finally fitting in like you'd always hope, of making good with the talents that have kind of been a bane in your life, of falling in love...

Just so wow...

If it's playing in a city near you, or like me you're gonna have to spend three hours driving to see it, SEE IT. Ignore the hype, ignore the expectations. Just go with the expectation to enjoy, and you will.

And by the end of it, tell me if you don't feel a bit Wicked yourself.
